Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 27, 2026

Coverly CRM ("Coverly," "Company," "we," "us," or "our") respects privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and otherwise process personal information in connection with our websites, platform, applications, communications, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

This Privacy Policy also explains the important distinction between information Coverly collects for its own business purposes and information our business customers process through the Coverly platform.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information Coverly collects when you:

  • visit our websites;
  • create or administer a Coverly account;
  • purchase our Services;
  • communicate with us;
  • request information or demonstrations;
  • submit forms;
  • interact with our marketing;
  • receive communications directly from Coverly; or
  • otherwise interact directly with Coverly.

Different rules may apply when Coverly processes information solely on behalf of one of our business customers.

2. Coverly as Controller and Processor

Information We Control

When you interact directly with Coverly, Coverly generally determines why and how your personal information is processed.

Customer-Controlled Data

Our business customers may use Coverly to collect, upload, store, organize, communicate with, and otherwise process information concerning their customers, prospects, leads, employees, contractors, patients, policyholders, applicants, or other individuals.

For such Customer Data, the Coverly customer generally determines the purposes and means of processing.

Coverly generally processes that information on behalf of the applicable customer as a processor or service provider, as those terms are defined under applicable privacy laws.

If you are seeking to exercise rights concerning information submitted to Coverly by one of our customers, you should ordinarily contact that business directly.

We may assist our customers with verified privacy requests as required by applicable law and contractual obligations.

8. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information

Coverly does not sell personal information for money in the ordinary meaning of the term "sell."

Certain privacy laws define "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" more broadly and may treat some advertising or analytics disclosures as regulated activities.

Where applicable law provides a right to opt out of such processing, Coverly will provide an appropriate mechanism for exercising that right.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, SDKs, and similar technologies to:

Where legally permitted, we may also send marketing communications.

Recipients may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe mechanism included in those messages.

SMS recipients may follow applicable opt-out instructions, including replying STOP where applicable.

Opting out of marketing communications does not necessarily prevent necessary transactional, security, or account-related communications.

11. Telephone and SMS Information

If you provide a telephone number to Coverly, we may use it for purposes disclosed at the point of collection and as otherwise permitted by law.

Consent to receive marketing calls or text messages is not a condition of purchasing Coverly Services where prohibited by applicable law.

13. Data Security

Coverly uses administrative, organizational, and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

No information system or Internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Customers are responsible for maintaining the security of their own credentials, devices, employees, and configurations.

14. Data Breaches

Where required by applicable law, Coverly will provide legally required notifications concerning qualifying security breaches.

Customers remain responsible for their own breach-notification and regulatory obligations regarding Customer Data except to the extent otherwise required by law or a written Data Processing Addendum.

Information obtained from such services is processed according to applicable permissions, contractual requirements, this Privacy Policy, and applicable law.

You may be able to manage permissions directly through the third-party provider.

17. Children's Privacy

The Coverly Services are designed for businesses and are not directed to children under thirteen (13).

Coverly does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under thirteen through its own website for independent commercial purposes.

Customers using Coverly are responsible for complying with applicable laws when collecting information concerning minors.

If we learn that personal information was collected directly by Coverly from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take appropriate steps.

18. United States Privacy Rights

Depending upon your state of residence and applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal information, which may include rights to:

  • confirm whether personal information is being processed;
  • access personal information;
  • correct inaccuracies;

Where the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended ("CCPA"), applies, California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and obtain information concerning categories of personal information collected, sources, purposes, and disclosures, as well as rights to opt out of certain sales or sharing and limit certain uses of sensitive personal information.

Coverly will process qualifying requests in accordance with applicable law.

For Customer Data that Coverly processes solely as a service provider or contractor for a Coverly customer, requests may need to be directed to that customer.

20. Florida Privacy Rights

Where Florida privacy law applies, eligible Florida consumers may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, and certain processing of personal data.

Applicable rights depend upon whether the relevant law applies to Coverly's activities and whether an exception applies.

Requests will be handled according to applicable law.

21. International Users

If the Services are made available to individuals outside the United States, personal information may be processed in the United States and other countries where Coverly or its service providers operate.

Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards will be used for international transfers.

Customers operating internationally are responsible for determining whether their use of the Services complies with laws applicable to them.

22. Do Not Track and Privacy Preference Signals

Some browsers and devices provide privacy preference signals.

Where applicable law requires Coverly to recognize a legally valid universal opt-out mechanism or privacy preference signal, we will process supported signals as required.

Other Do-Not-Track signals may not have a uniform legal or technical standard and therefore may not be recognized in every circumstance.
